THE ART OF RAG TASSEL MAKING WORKSHOP (Completed)
Everyone is welcome – Workshops @thegallery are a friendly and inclusive working space and we would love you to participate.
‘The Art of Rag Tassel Making’ will be facilitated in a workshop format. Your tutor Marjorie Brotheridge will provide an interesting introduction to the world of tassels. She will include an overview of the cultural applications for the uses of tassels followed by simple instruction of styles and techniques. This is a a creative and enjoyable workshop and most of the time will be spent exploring and discovering fabric qualities and assembling individual rag tassels.
