Mina Graham’s work is reflective of the diverse landscapes she has lived in and travelled to. She draws from the environments and traditions of the many cultures she has explored throughout the world.
She now lives in the highlands of central Victoria and is greatly affected by her immediate environment. As a result, nature is her greatest influence. Concerned greatly with the balance of contrasting textures and surfaces she employes various methods of surface treatment, tonal contrasts and texture to portray a collision of emotional responses to contrasting seasons, cultures and traditions.
Minna is exhibitng in the Gallery as part of the 2019 Clunes Ceramic Award Fringe Exhibition.
